Bible Buddyy FAQ
Honest answers to common questions about talking with the people of Scripture.
Is it okay to talk to AI biblical characters?
Bible Buddyy is a learning tool, not a way to contact the dead or receive new revelation. You are not speaking with the real Moses, Mary or Jesus. You are reading AI-written replies inspired by what Scripture records about them. Many people find this helps them picture the stories and ask questions they felt shy asking elsewhere. If it ever troubles your conscience, please talk it over with your pastor or a trusted believer.
Isn't this like consulting a medium?
No. Scripture warns against seeking the spirits of the dead (Deuteronomy 18:10–12; 1 Samuel 28). Bible Buddyy does not claim to reach anyone's spirit. It is closer to reading a historical novel or watching a Bible film: an imaginative retelling that points you back to the Bible itself.
Can Bible Buddyy replace my church, pastor or Bible reading?
No. It is meant to spark curiosity and help you study, not to replace Scripture, prayer, your church family or pastoral care. We encourage you to open your Bible and check every answer.
Are the answers always accurate?
AI can make mistakes, including wrong verse references. Answers are grounded in Scripture as closely as possible, but please verify verses in your own Bible before relying on them or teaching from them.
Why are Apocrypha characters like Tobit and Judith included?
Books such as Tobit, Judith and Maccabees are part of Catholic and Orthodox Bibles and are read by many Christians for history and devotion. Protestant Bibles usually leave them out or print them separately. We include them so everyone can learn about them, and each one is clearly labelled Apocrypha.
Can I build Bible studies for my small group or class?
Yes. With Bible Study Courses, leaders of small groups, Sunday school classes and youth groups can plan studies with a Scripture passage, teaching summary, discussion questions, an application point and a closing prayer for each session. AI can draft any part, and you can edit everything. You can print a leader guide or an attendee handout, download a PDF, and share a view-only link with co-leaders. Free accounts include 1 study; paid plans include unlimited studies.
Is Bible Buddyy free?
Yes, you can listen to the Bible read aloud for free in 12 languages, and free accounts get 3 chat messages a day. Paid plans unlock unlimited conversations and Bible study.
What languages does Bible Buddyy support?
English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Italian, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Arabic, Russian and Hindi, for both the app and the read-aloud Bible.
